North West Lancashire & Cumbria IA offer support to people with a permanent or temporary ileostomy or with an internal pouch. This support also extends to people facing the prospect of a future operation.

We maintain links with, and support, the Stoma Care Nursing Teams which are based in Barrow-in-Furness, Blackburn, Blackpool, Carlisle, Lancaster, Preston, Whitehaven & Workington.

Member’s meetings are held bi-annually in Preston and support is also given to Stoma Care Nurses Open Days throughout the whole area and to Road Shows/Information Days organised by Appliance Manufacturers and Distributors.
